If you’re social life is anything like mine, getting together with family and friends usually resolves around food. Whether you’ve just started eating Sugar & Flour Free, or implemented any change to feel better from the inside-out, you know these situations can be tempting and tricky to navigate.

Food is an easy choice for socializing; everyone like food, needs to eat, and it doesn’t take up too much time in your day. Plus, it’s relatively easy to think of a restaurant to go to rather than brainstorm an alternate activity.

  • Walking tour around a new area of town: a few weekends ago, my friends and I checked out Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We took fun pictures of all of the murals and went to Brooklyn Bowl.

  • Bowling
  • Sports Game: baseball, football, hockey, basketball – even little league!
  • Concerts 
  • Rock Climbing
  • Arcade Games: play skee-ball, pinball, air hockey
  • Listen to Poem Readings
